A Price Left Standing
- Cheap passage
At the Antswarm’s landing inn at Pellow Landing, the board by the door has read one drop a span since dawn. Gilly Renvoy stops in front of it with a child on each hip, counts the spans on her fingers, and decides the price is fair enough for all three of them. The landlord’s boy wipes the board with a damp cloth, then thinks better of it and leaves the figure standing.
